Who we are
Saint James Church was founded in 1762 by English missionaries from the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts. We are the oldest parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts! But our faith stays fresh. Our parish mission is to invite, sustain and restore people to unity with God through Christ by:
- Cultivating and enriching the spiritual life of the community.
- Stimulating the faith and personal ministry of the Parish's members.
- Serving the world and one another by sharing our resources.
